Google “how to start . . . ” (“a blog” pops up for me unbidden), and you will find much good advice on the importance of focus, on developing a clear concept, on identifying your audience.  I am choosing to ignore all that.  There are a lot of things that matter to me – cities and the people who live in them, running and runners, food and the people who produce and serve it, the natural world, the political and economic world – and I plan to write about all of them.  Consider this blog one woman’s exploration of as much of the world as she can pack into her posts.
